Profile

• 専門は教育学、生涯学習。学び続ける人とそれを包み込む社会に関心を持ち、ワークショップ、カフェイベント、プロジェクト型学習の研究を中心に、生涯学習に関する研究と実践を続けている。
  
  2013年からは、「『ラーニングフルエイジング』プロジェクト」を立ち上げ、国内外での調査、アクションリサーチ等により、特に「40歳からの学び」を積極的に支援している。「ラーニングフルエイジング」とは、学ぶことと年をとることを組み合わせた造語であり、いつでもどんなときも学び続ける成人像が背景にある。本プロジェクトでは、エイジング（個人の加齢、社会の高齢化）に関する諸問題を、生涯学習の課題として捉え、研究・実践を行うことを目的としている。2008年度日本教育工学会研究奨励賞 受賞。2010年度日本教育工学会論文賞 受賞（受賞論文｢ワークショップ実践家のデザインにおける熟達過程 : デザインの方法における変容の契機に着目して｣）。主な著作に 『ワークショップデザインにおける熟達と実践者の育成』（単著、ひつじ書房）、『ラーニングフルエイジング：超高齢社会における 学びの可能性』(共著、ミネルヴァ書房)、『ワークショップデザ イン論—創ることで学ぶ—』(共著、慶應義塾大学出版会)。
