Gaining BA in international relations from Tsuda College, MA in applied linguistics from Columbia University, and Doctorate in education from Temple University, my current research interests include willingness to communicate in SLA (second language acquisition), discourse analysis in healthcare communication, linguistic relativity, extensive reading, and CALL (computer-assisted language learning).
